Summary

Come and join a growing, fast paced team at Lynwood & Co in the Cotswolds. We Value great service, great tasting food and a good work-life balance. There are no evenings involved, however Weekend work is required due to the nature of this role, 28 days paid holiday per year, staff discount in our 9 cafe sites, lunch on shift, 8-8.5 hour shifts, early finish about 2pm, latest finish would be 4.30pm. An established team means this role is rewarding and we are only hiring due to expansion. We can be flexible to suit exterior needs such as childcare, in line with your shifts.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring excellent food production standards. Manage and supervise staff to foster a motivated and efficient team. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Coordinate food preparation and kitchen activities. Lead staff training and development initiatives. Place and receive orders from supply companies. Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies. Contribute to menu planning and product quality control. Completion of compliance paperwork.

Qualifications

Proven supervising or managerial experience in hospitality or food service. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of food safety standards. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Passion for community involvement and customer satisfaction. Good communication skills. Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting is preferred.
