We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to organisational standards
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Coordinate food production activities, ensuring timely delivery of orders during service hours
Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Support in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to existing staff
Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and utilised efficiently
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated team management abilities, including leadership and conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
