Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met Manage food production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen activities Assist in developing new menu items and culinary innovations to enhance the dining experience Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders for supplies as needed Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications

Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example Solid knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and service excellence

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour
