Weekdays:

Breakfast - 07:00 to 08:30

Lunch - 12:45 to 13:30

? Evening Meal - 17:45 to 19:00

Bar Meal - 19:00 to 20:30

Weekends:

Brunch - 09:00 to 12:30

? Evening Meal - 18:00 to 20:15

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced

Sous Chef

to join our small, professional kitchen team at

HMS Sultan

You'll help prepare and serve freshly made, high-quality meals for service personnel across breakfast, lunch, evening, and bar services, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and food quality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present meals to high standards Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards Assist with menu preparation, stock control, and service organisation Work collaboratively as part of a small, professional team

Previous experience essential

in a similar kitchen role Qualifications desirable (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexible, reliable, and passionate about delivering great food Motivated to progress within a career pathway
