Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Chef de Partie ready to step up, or an established Sous Chef seeking a fresh creative challenge, Working closely with our Head Chef, you will help lead the kitchen team in producing high-quality, seasonal dishes that keep our guests coming back.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory control.

Lead, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and organisation.

Take an active role in service, preparing and cooking dishes to specification while maintaining a calm and efficient kitchen environment.

Uphold all food hygiene, health, and safety standards, ensuring full compliance at all times.

Contribute creative ideas to menu development, championing seasonal ingredients and local produce.

Requirements

Proven experience in a pub, food-led pub, or similar fresh-food environment.

Strong culinary skills with a passion for British cuisine and classic cooking techniques.

Confident leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a team.

Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including ordering, costing, and stock control.

Creative flair with exceptional attention to detail and presentation.

Ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
