Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and kitchen team at The Kinloch Hotel in Arran. This pivotal role involves overseeing food preparation and culinary operations to ensure our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food.
Oversee food production and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in developing menus that highlight local ingredients and culinary creativity.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold service excellence.
Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven supervising and team management experience in a hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking.
