We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that our culinary standards are met while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Duties

Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation activities. Assist in menu planning and the development of new recipes. Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with the management to manage kitchen operations efficiently. Provide excellent hospitality by ensuring timely service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting. Supervising experience with a focus on team management and leadership. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Previous experience in food production is highly essential.
