Sous Chef

We are looking for a

Sous Chef

on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role in a four- or five-star hotel or fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate has experience in leading a kitchen team and has great communication skills; hands-on and able to motivate the team. This position reports directly to the Executive Chef.


Location: Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel (Mayfair, London)


Employment Type: Full-time


Working Pattern: Shift work


Salary: Up to 41,000 per annum (including service charge)


As a

Sous Chef

you will:

Be able to assist the Head Chef on a daily basis. Ensure that all recipes and product yields are accurately costed and reviewed regularly. Ensure that all food items are prepared as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste. Training junior members of staff and that chefs are always in clean, tidy uniforms and are always presentable to be in guest view. Maintaining health and safety standards in the kitchen. General section organisation and section ordering
