Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Hub Restaurant and Farm Shop. This role is essential in maintaining our high culinary standards while supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality standards are met.
Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications while maintaining consistency.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during food preparation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with the team to create new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients.
Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Passion for food and creativity in menu development.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
