Due to Flourish expanding, we are looking to recruit chefs at our new site on the outskirts of Norton St Philip.

This role reports to the Head Chef. You will be supporting the food service of this fantastic Foodhall & Kitchen. Due to the expansion of Flourish we are looking for experienced chefs that are willing to learn as well as share their knowledge amongst the team. You will have a passion for great seasonal local food, working in an open plan kitchen, including a gas and woodfired pizza oven. Working alongside a motivated and committed team in the delivery of amazing food to 150 covers, will be critical to your success in this role.

Providing customers with an exceptional plate of simple, seasonal, great tasting food, consistently and on time requires a great team. You will have regular training with your colleagues, embracing new ideas and working as a team to achieve consistently high standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with day to day running of the kitchen.
- Be able to lead shifts in the Head Chef and Sous Chef's absence, ensuring food preparation and delivery meets business needs.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with training colleagues.
- Execute food preparation tasks with precision and efficiency, adhering to culinary standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dishes.
- Contribute to breakfast and lunch services, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
- Attend training sessions regularly to enhance skills and stay updated on new techniques.
- Work collectively with the team to maintain high standards of food quality.

Experience:
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary environment is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Ideally hold a level 2 food safety certificate.
- Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards.
- knowledge and experience of making pizza is preferred, but not crucial as training will be provided.
