Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced chef to join our team of in-house chefs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, creative with ideas and committed to delivering high quality dishes. The Sous Chef will be responsible for preparing meals, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards and contributing to an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-quality dishes and presentation standards.

Ensure kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and adhere to culinary standards.

Monitor food preparation and production timelines to ensure timely service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.

Knowledge of food safety regulations.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced kitchen environment.

May require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.

Must be flexible with shift patterns, as the selected candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: 23,904.99-24,000.00 per year
