Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and development. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to specification and presented beautifully for service. Handle any issues that arise during service, ensuring smooth operations.

Experience

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant environment, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. Excellent cooking skills with an ability to prepare a variety of cuisines. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in team management and training. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
