We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food preparation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring to foster a motivated team environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and manage wastage effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Support menu development by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials. Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Qualifications



Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful culinary teams. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Excellent skills in food preparation, presentation, and culinary techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills. Good understanding of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are preferred but not essential.
