Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items Coordinate with the Head Chef to plan menus, manage stock levels, and control food costs Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, including hygiene standards and allergen management Support training programmes for junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times Serve as a role model for team management, fostering a positive working atmosphere

Experience

Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and current industry trends Experience managing food production processes and ensuring high standards of service Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service principles in a hospitality setting Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining composure under pressure

Pay: 30,000.00-33,000.00 per year
