Job Summary


We are seeking two experienced and dynamic Sous Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing daily food production, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency and quality in line with menu specifications. Monitor food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with regulatory standards. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times.

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation. Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines and techniques. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and organise a diverse team. Good understanding of food serving procedures and customer service standards. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if necessary. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24,500.00-32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
