We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, the Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in managing daily food preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and timely delivery of dishes Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive food production and culinary experience, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in serving operations being advantageous Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-28,400.00 per year
