Job Summary


We are seeking a part-time Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are maintained. Minimum of 2 years experience in the same job role.

Weekly pay and great cash tips.

2-4 Working days - 11am -8pm.

Must be available for weekend work.

Duties



Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff. Oversee food production and preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to specification and presented beautifully before serving. Communicate well with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Experience in supervising and managing a team within a kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. Previous experience in food production within a busy kitchen is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
