We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef by overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading the kitchen team with professionalism and enthusiasm. Responsibilities



Assist in the preparation and presentation of a wide variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise and manage kitchen staff during service, providing guidance and support to maintain smooth operations. Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimising waste. Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, seasonal changes, and special event planning. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and report any faults promptly. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, training, and leadership.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food production in a high-volume setting. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings. Previous experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality establishments is highly desirable. Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service principles is advantageous. Pay: 36,000.00-39,000.00 per year
