We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of kitchen staff.

Duties
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team management.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, complying with food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Participate in cooking and food production as required, demonstrating culinary expertise.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
Comprehensive knowledge of culinary practices, including cooking methods and presentation styles.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly desirable.
