33.5 per week

Shift Pattern:

Monday-Friday, with flexibility required to support business needs

Rate of Pay:

We're looking for a skilled and driven

Sous Chef

to join our Corporate Services team in Leven. Reporting to the Head Chef, you'll help deliver high-quality food and support the smooth, efficient running of our kitchen operations.

What You'll Do

Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and deputise in their absence Lead food preparation, presentation, and service to consistently high standards Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements Contribute to menu planning, stock management, ordering, and cost control Supervise and develop kitchen staff to maintain strong team performance Manage catering for special events, including occasional out-of-hours functions Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships

What You Bring

Professional cookery qualifications (e.g. NVQ/SVQ, City & Guilds, Diploma in Catering) Experience in a similar role with leadership and organisational capability Confident in managing stock, financial targets, and kitchen compliance Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment IT literate, with the ability to use kitchen management and reporting systems
