We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards. Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and portion control. Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices. Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative work environment. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Extensive kitchen experience across various cuisines and techniques. Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality standards. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential. Previous experience serving in a similar role within hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,000.00-36,000.00 per year
