We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising kitchen personnel, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Prepare high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications, maintaining consistency and presentation standards. Monitor food production processes to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Enforce strict food safety standards and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen. Manage stock levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency. Support team management by training new staff and providing ongoing guidance to ensure professional development. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment. Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings. Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality establishments is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Knowledge of food serving standards and customer service principles. A passion for culinary arts coupled with a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Pay: 27,500.00-31,725.00 per year
