We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during shifts. Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Train junior team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment. Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and presentation techniques. Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and consistency. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Good understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Leadership qualities combined with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
