Duties
Assist in supervising all kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth daily operations
Lead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and safety
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, controlling waste, and minimizing food costs
Support menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas
Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to deliver flawless service for events of varying sizes
Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment
Skills
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments
Proven supervisory experience managing kitchen staff and leading teams successfully
Strong knowledge of food production processes, food safety protocols, and dietary requirements
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Experience in inventory control, food handling, and kitchen management systems
Skilled in menu planning, food presentation, and culinary innovation
Familiarity with restaurant operations including shift management, food service management, and hospitality standards
Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of banquet experience and catering logistics is highly desirable
