Duties



Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food production Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times Enforce health and safety procedures, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards Support team training programmes to develop skills and promote a positive working environment Serve as a role model in delivering outstanding customer service during service hours

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation Strong background in kitchen management, including team leadership and staff supervision Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on high-quality service delivery Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to commercial kitchens Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience serving or engaging with customers is advantageous but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
