Joining our Head Chef we are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef. You will love cooking and want to progress to a Head Chef role. As the Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety and treating everyone well in a friendly environment.
Duties
Cooking for Weddings
Cooking for Hotel Guests
Ensuring efficient food production and service.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Culinary qualifications or relevant training are highly desirable.
