An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Full-Time Sous Chef to join our friendly Hospitality Team at the National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa.
We are about to embark on an exciting new Clubhouse Development project which you will be very much involved in whilst still operating our existing service.
You will assist our Head Chef in delivering excellent food and service for:
Day to day operation of the Clubhouse kitchen for members and visiting partie
Golf Club meals and dinners to include club matches and social event
The Halfway house on both course and the cafe at the Driving Rang
Outside Functions for up to 150 people
Catering for meetings and Conferences in our Conference Suite
You must have a proven track record as a quality Chef and :
Create great food and assist with menus and consistency in all dishes
Be a team player and be able to work with our Head Chef and small kitchen team, demonstrating good inter personal skills by continuing to monitor, motivate and help train staff.
Have an excellent knowledge of all hygiene and cleaning procedures records to uphold our existing 5 hygiene rating
Be able to work under pressure in a fast paced kitchen environment
Have a passion for excellent service and have the right mindset to continually offer a flexible and high standard of menu to varying customers
Demonstrate effective administration of all food stock and control wastage
Understand management accounts and demonstrate great margins and gross profit.
We offer :
40 hours per week on an annualised hours basis
Salary plus hourly pay for any extra hours over contracted 40 hours paid at the end of the year
Sociable working core hours 7.00am - 5.00pm with occasional evening work
5 out of 7 days
Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years day off
