As

Sous Chef

, you'll support the

Head Chef

in managing the kitchen day-to-day -- ensuring delicious, beautifully presented dishes are served every time. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves cooking, leading, and creating a positive kitchen atmosphere!

Key Responsibilities

? Oversee all kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away

? Ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation

? Maintain top-tier food safety and hygiene practices

? Lead by example to keep the kitchen spotless and efficient

? Motivate, support, and guide kitchen staff with a hands-on approach

? Assist with recruitment and training of chefs and kitchen porters

? Communicate regularly with the Head Chef regarding stock and supplies

About You

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred (but not essential!) Great communication and leadership skills Able to handle manual tasks like lifting and moving stock Confident using Microsoft Office and Outlook A passion for food, teamwork, and high standards!
