What We're Looking For:
An experienced chef who can manage, inspire, and lead a team to excellence.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene, with at least a Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or higher).
A team player with excellent communication skills to clearly delegate and assist in team training.
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
A strong sense of urgency with a "can-do" attitude.
Genuine passion for cooking and ambition in the food and beverage industry.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry and food safety training.
Job Responsibilities:
Learn and prepare dishes to our expected high standards.
Assist the Head Chef in planning staff rotas and managing stock control.
Co-manage the training and development of team members.
Support chefs during food preparation and service.
Oversee daily HACCP checks, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain and clean kitchen equipment, appliances, work surfaces, and storage areas to industry standards.
Help with receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries while maintaining well-organized storage rooms.
What's in It for You?
Competitive salary: 35,000 per year (inclusive of tronc).
Flexible working hours (40 hours per week).
Closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
