Job Description

As a Spa Therapist at Park Hall Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering professional and high-quality spa treatments, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times. You will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and relaxation of our guests while promoting the spa's services and facilities.

Responsibilities:

Provide a range of spa treatments including massage, facials, body treatments, and beauty therapies according to the spa's standards. Greet guests warmly, complete consultations, and tailor treatments to their needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all treatment rooms and spa areas in accordance with health and safety standards. Promote and up-sell treatments, packages, and retail products. Keep accurate records of treatments and guest preferences. Ensure treatment areas are fully stocked and ready for each session. Assist with the general smooth operation of the spa, including reception duties when required. Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to stay updated with the latest treatment techniques and product knowledge. Build rapport and long-term relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.

Requirements:

Recognised beauty therapy or massage therapy qualification. Previous experience working in a spa or wellness environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional, friendly, and guest-focused attitude. Ability to work flexibly including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Commitment to delivering outstanding service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients. Experience in managing front desk operations is preferred but not essential. Proficiency in upselling techniques to promote additional services and products. Knowledge of beauty treatments including eyelash extensions, makeup application, and barbering is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment. A commitment to ongoing professional development within the wellness industry.
