We are looking for a part time therapist to join our lovely Elemis Thermal Spa as a therapist.

3. Position Summary
To assist and support the Spa Manager in all of the Spa and Beauty operations and to ensure that the highest quality standards are met in all areas at all times. To promote & maximize sales and ensure accuracy in the handling of cash and other sales transactions.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, to perform other duties assigned by the Spa Manager from time to time.
4. Job Location
The position is based at the Netherwood Hotel and Spa, Grange over Sands Cumbria, although some travelling may be required for the proper performance of duties and the post holder may be required to work at any other establishment of this undertaking or any associated companies, in the area.
5. Main Duties
5.1 To keep the Spa Manager fully informed of matters which may affect the day to day management and/or running of the business.
5.2 To carry out all treatments to the standard required and as booked in by the Reception team.
5.3 To ensure that all of the services provided excel in performance standards and meet all customer expectations.
5.4 To greet the client warmly and by their name, show them to the therapy room and indicate where everything is. Inform the client/guest of all other facilities available.

5.5 To act in a friendly and professional manner at all times.
5.6 To work within the time guidelines of each treatment and to ensure that the highest standard of care is practiced.
5.7 To ensure that product knowledge is well known and that the client's time is educative, therapeutic and relaxing.
5.8 To sell the products during the treatments and ensure that the client receives your enthusiasm and knowledge.
5.9 To be responsible for replenishing towels in the treatment rooms.
5.10 To attend meetings and to promote good communications across all levels of the organization
5.11 To ensure that personal standards of presentation are of the highest quality and to inform the Spa Manager of any medical problems that may hinder you carrying out your duties as a Spa Therapist.
5.12 To play an effective role in the Spa and Beauty Team supporting all departments throughout Netherwood Hotel and Spa and ensuring the smooth running of the business. Being flexible if colleagues need help within other areas of the working environment.
5.13 To ensure that all legislative requirements are met at all times including, but not limited to, the Health and Safety and welfare of people, and licensing requirements.
5.13 To ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of yourself and others by maintaining a safe working environment and operating safe working practices at all times.
5.14 To suggest improvements which will result in increased income and/or reduced costs. To contribute to Spa and Beauty success by welcoming related, different and new requests and helping others to accomplish job results.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.39 per hour
