We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Spa Therapist to join our leisure & wellness team at New Lanark Mill Hotel on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for a qualified therapist looking to build their career in a professional and welcoming environment. Whether you have experience in the industry or are looking to develop your skills further, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a historic and tranquil setting, providing exceptional treatments and service to our guests.

Our fully functioning leisure suite features three spa treatment rooms, where our Spa Therapists play an integral role in providing guests with a relaxing and invigorating experience. We take pride in offering high-quality beauty treatments, including massage, facials, and body therapies, using the luxurious Ishga range of products within a calm and tranquil environment.

New Lanark Mill Hotel is unlike any other in Scotland. Originally an 18thcentury cotton mill, we offer 38 spacious and stylish bedrooms that combine traditional charm with modern convenience. We're rated four stars by VisitScotland, and have a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. We are owned and operated by New Lanark Trust an independent Scottish Charity which is responsible for the ongoing conservation and promotion of New Lanark World Heritage Site.

Who we are looking for.



Working as part of our Spa team you will ensure all guests are greeted in a friendly and professional manner. You will be confident communicating with our guests to ensure their needs are met. Being a Spa Therapist you will work to a very high standard focusing on attention to detail in service delivery of all beauty treatments. You will be a kind and caring individual who has the needs of their clients at the forefront of their mind. You'll be organised and prepared for your day ahead to ensure timescales are effectively achieved. Although you'll be allocated your own workload on a daily basis, team work is also very important so you must be willing to help other team members when they need support.

What you'll need.



Experience in this role or similar Proof of qualification is required Enthusiasm and flexibility Display a professional and courteous attitude Immaculately presented Ability to work on your own but also an effective team player Good time management and ability to work under pressure An excellent eye for detail Good communication skills

Key responsibilities.



Meet and greet clients Explanation of available treatments and implementation of consultation forms Carry out spa treatments Refreshing of all towels and linen as required Maintaining high level of cleanliness within the beauty room and surrounding areas Desk duties including diary management, cash handling and answering the telephone Working as part of a vibrant team to exceed our guests' expectations.
