The Lakes by Yoo is exclusive private development, spread across 850 acres of woodland, meadows & lakes in the Cotswold water park. Established for over 15 years, we build unique, luxury lakefront and woodland second homes. The estate also includes the Award-winning Orchard Spa, and numerous clubhouse buildings. The Estate is fully serviced with 24hr security, Concierge and Guest Services team to help with all resident and guest requests. The Estate is home to several facilities including a full-service spa and gym, tennis courts, restaurant and a zip activities hub.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Spa & Wellness Manager with a strong background in wellbeing and holistic health to join our elite wellness team. This role is pivotal in driving and delivering a five-star guest experience, and curating wellness journeys tailored to the unique needs of each client.

The ideal candidate is both a strong team leader and a wellness advocate - someone who can seamlessly bridge luxury hospitality with a deep understanding of personal wellbeing

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Engagement

- Support the Membership Manager with all aspects of spa membership programs, including sales, onboarding, renewals, and member retention.

- Act as a point of contact for prospective and current members, delivering exceptional service and communication.

- Able to implement and monitor up-selling strategies to maximize spa and health club operational revenue.

- Responsible for monitoring and analysing the products and services of competitive Spas, to maintain a competitive advantage.

Guest Experience & Wellbeing Advisory

- Serve as an ambassador for the spa's wellness philosophy, guiding guests through holistic offerings such as massage, skincare, nutrition, fitness, and mindfulness.

- Liaise with therapists and wellness practitioners to ensure both guests and members receive personalized, results-driven programs.

- Maintain a deep understanding of wellness trends and best practices to inspire and educate members.

- Support with organize exclusive events, workshops, and wellness retreats to enhance engagement and community.

- Responsible for reviewing all guest feedback results and implementing improvements to ensure guest satisfaction.

Operational & Team Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with the spa operations, front-of-house, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive luxury experience.

- Track member preferences, usage, and feedback.

- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a luxury service mindset at all times.

- Responsible for the department training plan and conducting hands-on training for the new recruitment.

- Responsible for spa employees' weekly duty schedules

- Develop and maintain retail product program.

- Ensure all areas of the Spa are always kept clean and well-maintained.

- Responsible for compliance with all legislation governing the operation of a Spa facility.

- Conduct inventories of all operating Spa equipment in line with audit standards to effectively manage operational costs.

- Ensure that the spa department follows hotel policies and procedures including health, hygiene, emergency, and Fire prevention.

- Prepare annual budget and business Plan to ensure Spa operation is adequately represented.

Required Qualifications



- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience within a luxury spa, and /or health clubs.

- Strong understanding of wellness modalities and holistic health principles.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and trust.

- Confident working in a luxury hospitality or high-end wellness environment.

- Professional wellness qualifications (e.g., in nutrition, fitness, holistic health, or spa therapy) are highly desirable.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.

- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting

- Ability to carry out treatments as required
