We are looking for a Space Planning & Move Coordinator to join our fast-paced, collaborative team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in delivering space planning solutions, managing office moves, and coordinating reconfigurations across a dynamic workplace environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing their plans come to life on site. Overtime is available, and you'll be working as part of a supportive and high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include planning and implementing move projects, creating move layout designs, managing small moves and furniture requests, and raising any related maintenance or service tasks.
AutoCAD experience is essential, and familiarity with building regulations relating to office design is important.
You'll need strong skills in space planning, stakeholder engagement, contractor management, and move coordination. While a background in interior design or architecture would be a bonus, it's not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD to design and plan office layouts for the client, transitioning from Portacabins to permanent office spaces
Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to stay informed on upcoming works and space improvement initiatives
Schedule and coordinate Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) to ensure efficiency and best value for the client
Maintain accurate project tracking using the Moves tracker and ensure POs are raised and monitored prior to works
Provide regular updates to the MAC Manager on workload and future pipeline
Manage MAC process documentation and completion files, ensuring compliance and organization
Participate in weekly coordination meetings and confidently present project updates and resource planning insights
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience using AutoCAD to design and plan office spaces
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project managers
Understanding of key financial, labour, and material variables, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
Experience coordinating office moves or fit-outs, ideally within a multi-site environment
Ability to manage scheduling, documentation, and resource planning for ongoing projects
Comfortable presenting updates in coordination meetings
Interior Design certification is desirable
