You'll be responsible for handling, moving, and packaging materials using both manual and powered equipment. This role includes receiving, storing, and preparing parts for delivery while ensuring quality and minimising damage. Flexibility is key, as duties may vary based on business needs.
Working Hours:
8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3:30pm Friday
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare spare parts orders for dispatch.
Load/unload trucks and containers using winches, forklifts, and other equipment.
Transport and store materials within the warehouse using industrial vehicles.
Maintain Kanban systems and manage stock levels and racking.
Receive, identify, tag, and store incoming inventory; update delivery records.
Ensure all items are correctly documented, packaged, and stored.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Support the Supervisor in resolving material shortages.
Maintain accurate labeling and organization of wear parts racks.
Assist with special projects and support other operational areas as needed.
Desired Education and Background
1 year experience in a similar position is required.
A valid Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential.
Multi-tasking and communication skills
Experience with Inventory Control Systems
