To lead and manage the spares department. With a need optimize product lifecycle, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth. This role will oversee the aftersales and parts lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive spares strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
Identify and prioritize sales opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.
Service and Parts Development:
Lead the development of high-quality service and parts solutions, including diagnostics, repair procedures, and spare parts kits.
Ensure that service and parts documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to field service technicians and customers.
Collaborate with suppliers to source and procure high-quality, cost-effective service and parts.
Customer Support:
Provide exceptional customer support by resolving service issues promptly and effectively.
Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
Implement customer satisfaction programs to measure and improve customer experience.
Team Leadership:
Work with colleagues to determine customer requirements.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in parts management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and product design.
Proven track record of leading and managing.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. ERP, CRM).
Additional Considerations:
A strong understanding of international trade and logistics is advantageous.
By fulfilling this role, the Spares Manager will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and enhancing the overall brand reputation of the organization.
Monday - Friday 0830 - 1700 some weekend working may be required.
25 days holiday including Bank holidays
