About the Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide inclusive and outstanding education. You will be responsible for creating and delivering tailored learning experiences for students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with parents, support staff, and other professionals (such as therapists and social workers) to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and development.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered to learn.
• Manage and mentor a team of SEN teaching assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must be a fully Qualified Teacher with experience working in a SEN setting.
• In-depth knowledge of SEN: A strong understanding of various Special Educational Needs and the strategies required to support students with these needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Creativity and adaptability: The capacity to design innovative and flexible lesson plans to suit individual student requirements.
• Resilience and a positive attitude: The ability to remain calm and optimistic, even in challenging situations.
• A collaborative spirit: A team player who is eager to share knowledge and work with others to achieve shared goals.
