We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a growing team. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), adapting resources and activities to meet specific learning needs.
  • Support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Help with personal care and mobility for students who require it, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student support.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback.

  • A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational and personal development.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but a willingness to learn and a compassionate nature are just as important.
  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field would be an advantage.
