The role demands effective communication with customers, timely task completion, and escalation of issues when necessary. Operatives must use equipment correctly and safely, comply with PUWER and Health & Safety regulations, and stay up to date with training and new technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a full driving licence and extensive experience in both traditional and modern window cleaning techniques, including the use of water-fed telescopic poles and purifying systems. They are trained in a wide range of health and safety protocols such as IPAF, PASMA, harness use, working at height, manual handling, and IOSH Working Safely. Familiarity with cleaning machinery like buffers and carpet cleaners, along with BICSc training, supports their ability to perform clinical and specialist cleaning tasks.
