The Role: Client Account Manager - Senior Analyst

Grade /Level (relevant for internal applicants only): Analyst (Grade 8)

The Location: London

The Team:

S&P Global\'s Cappitech regulatory reporting division provides customers with market leading solutions for the financial industry\'s critical regulatory regimes, including Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR), MiFID, EMIR and North American real-time reporting regulations. We serve the world\'s largest banks and financial organisations to meet their regulatory reporting obligations. Account Management is the single key point of contact for our clients with S&P Cappitech.

The Impact:

S&P is looking for a client orientated individual to join the Account Management team. Account Managers are critical to representing the customer voice within S&P and representing S&P to the customer - it is a trusted and crucial function within the Business.

What\'s in it for you:

You will be interacting with and representing senior stakeholders from the world\'s largest banks and financial organisations

The role requires the development of relationships across multiple functions within these organisations, including Regulatory Reporting, Operations, Compliance, Finance and Trading

You will work with global regulatory bodies to ensure that our customers\' reporting obligations are fulfilled, and their interests understood and addressed

The role provides the opportunity to work with the key players in the global regulatory reporting industry

Responsibilities:

Customer-facing role - managing customer relationship and enquiries

Helping clients understand how our solutions work

Proactive customer management to identify industry trends, reporting issues and opportunities

Support Sales in both identifying and retaining customer relationships

Foster collaboration and continued product improvement with the development team

What We\'re Looking For:

Education and experience

Candidate to be degree educated

Prior experience in Regulatory Reporting would be advantageous but not required

Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills with acute attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Personal impact

The ideal candidate will be comfortable conducting business analysis and working with clients to understand their requirements

Proactive and able to work independently

Ability to listen, learn quickly and demonstrate initiative

Prepare presentations and present to clients and internal audiences

Communication

Must be an excellent written and verbal communicator

Excellent interpersonal skills

Able to easily adapt communication style in different situations

Ability to speak another language (preferred) but not essential

Teamwork

\'Can do\' attitude to challenges and proven team working ability

Highly motivated, disciplined, confident and a team player. The ability to adjust to shifting priorities is a must

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
