Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Severe Asthma

Job Description

This is an ideal role for a pharmacist wanting to work in a dynamic leading edge specialty- Respiratory Medicine in an excellent research renowned Tertiary Centre and deepen their clinical knowledge and skills and develop their leadership skills in working with a very motivated wider multidisciplinary team. You will be instrumental in managing patients and delivering transformative care to patients who have life limiting severe asthma.



The post-holder will:



Become an expert in Respiratory Pharmacy with a focus on Severe Asthma.



Respiratory medicine will include COPD, Interstitial Lung disease and pleural medicine as well as severe asthma.



You will be responsible for delivering our severe asthma service to provide excellent patient care. This will include all aspects of Severe asthma treatment, homecare including related documentation and supporting clinics.



You will also be responsible for providing pharmacy ward cover to the respiratory ward



To be a key role in the Respiratory Pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team with all related initiatives in teaching, service and guideline development.



To demonstrate Trust values and professionalism in all day to day work and communications.
