We are seeking to appoint a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to support the learning journey of all children within the Additionally Resourced Provision, working with children with complex learning needs. As a Specialist Learning Support Assistant, your role will involve:



Working with skilled teachers to support the delivery of high-quality classroom practice Supporting the learning journey of children with a range of complex needs including Autism, speech and language and early play skills. Delivering agreed Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, SCERTS, ELKAN and other programmes Contributing to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment

What we are looking for:



Ideal candidates will bring a positive, flexible attitude and be adaptable to work across different areas of the school as needed A good standard of literacy and numeracy to effectively support teaching and learning in the classroom We value team players who show initiative, build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community We highly desire candidates with: Previous experience working with children across the primary age range is highly desirable. NVQ Level 3 is also desirable Relevant experience of working with children with SEND such as: Autism, developmental delay and other SEND across the primary age range and supporting sensory regulation difficulties Experience of delivering agreed Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, SCERTS, ELKAN and other programmes

Salary range:

BR5 (dependent on experience) 19,070 - 20,226 (FTE 24,608 - 26,100)
