Role Overview

As a Specialist Mobile Response Officer (SMRO) at G4S, you will be more than a standard
Security Guard, as this role entails both supervision, soft management skills and a high degree
of self discipline and professionalism.

You\'ll strive to ensure the safety and security of our customers, their buildings and assets, whilst
providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent
customer service in a safe and secure environment, and your adherence and contribution to this
will be of paramount importance. You\'ll also be required to engage with static guarding security
officers at your patrol base and report any issues to Regional Management.

The role also requires SMRO\'s to ensure speedy, but legal, responses to security incidents,
while adhering to the required operational procedures and protocols, as set out by the
customer\'s security team. This will typically be within areas containing high value premises in
salubrious surroundings. This includes perimeter searches, where required, patrolling the
premises and dealing with security and safety matters; including effective liaison with local law
enforcement and following up on reports. You will be observant, have an inquisitive mind and
have a keen eye for detail. You will be courteous, polite and be able to deal with customers,
colleagues and people in a positive, proactive and helpful manner. With G4S as an SMRO, you
can look forward to an interesting, diverse role where no 2 days will be the same.

The role is based around a 2 man team working 12 hour shifts, 4 on and 4 off, 42 hours per
week avg. The pay rate will be \xc2\xa315.90 per hour, \xc2\xa334,725.60 annual. There will be opportunities
for overtime. The position will be based out of the Bracknell area, and cover several high profile
properties in the surrounding are.

About you

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the
drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include nights and
weekends. It is essential to have security experience and your SIA license for this position.
