Job Title: Supplier Onboarding & Digital Integration Lead

Location: Nottingham Support Office

Contract: 12 Month FTC

Shift Pattern: Full Time

Hours; 37.50

Recruitment Partner: Matthew Nelligan

Overview

The role is key in supporting our suppliers in the provision of accurate and consistent product data to the required implementation deadlines. In doing so it will require a full review of the onboarding process with various partners across the business with the end result getting new products and updates through quicker and of increased quality for customers and colleagues. You will work directly with suppliers to guide them through the onboarding process, troubleshoot common problems, and make sure they have clear, easy-to-follow information at each step.

It also involves close coordination with internal teams such as Trading, Master Data, Digital Product Enrichment and the wider Digital Services team to improve the onboarding journey, remove recurring pain points, and support more consistent ways of working. Strong organisational skills and a background in project management or structured process improvement will be an advantage in driving change and keeping documentation and communication clear and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Helping Suppliers Get Set Up in PIM

Guide new suppliers through the onboarding process and help them understand what's needed to start enriching products. Work with teams across the business to make sure the technical steps required for suppliers to be granted access to PIM are completed as quick and efficiently as possible. Stay close to the end-to-end process to make sure suppliers aren't delayed by missing steps or unclear instructions.

Solving Supplier Issues

Be a go-to contact for suppliers who are stuck or facing common problems, especially in systems like PIM. Work with Digital, Trading, and Master Data teams to help resolve issues quickly and effectively. Spot trends in the types of problems suppliers experience and help shape improvements to prevent them from recurring.

Working with the Digital Product Enrichment Team

Collaborate closely with the Digital Product Enrichment team to understand what challenges they face when supporting suppliers. Help surface recurring supplier issues that are slowing down enrichment and work together to find practical solutions.

Improving Supplier Guides and Resources

Keep supplier documentation up to date including user guides, how-to documents, FAQs, and onboarding packs. Materials should be made clearer, easier to follow, and more aligned with how suppliers use our systems.

Making Onboarding More Consistent

Understand how supplier onboarding is currently handled across different categories and teams i.e. current fast track projects. Identify where processes differ or cause confusion and help define a more consistent, streamlined approach. Provide internal teams with tools, checklists, or templates to make supporting suppliers easier and more efficient.

Supporting Supplier Communication

Help deliver clear and consistent messages to suppliers whether for project rollouts, system changes, or process updates. Make sure suppliers always have access to the latest versions of guides and instructions. Work with internal teams to coordinate when and how supplier communication takes place.

What you will need to have:

Experience working with suppliers or onboarding processes in a retail, FMCG, or digital environment. A good understanding of product data, enrichment processes, or systems like PIM. Strong communication skills, able to explain things clearly and write easy-to-understand guidance whilst also being able to engage large groups of stakeholders in person. Confidence working across multiple teams and following up to get things done. Organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, you enjoy helping others and making processes better. Some exposure to project coordination or structured process improvement is helpful, especially in environments where multiple stakeholders are involved.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with vendor master data or article creation processes. Exposure to digital transformation or supplier experience improvement projects. Project management training or certification (e.g. Prince2, Agile, PMP, or equivalent).
