Job Description

1. To work with the clinical lead of the West Midlands Community Forensic LDA service to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the service. 2. To work collaboratively and effectively with others to deliver the agreed nursing responsibilities of the West Midlands Community Forensic LDA Service.



3. To be operationally responsible for the health care and nursing staff employed in relation to the West Midlands Community Forensic LDA service, as directed by the clinical lead and operational manager. 4. To be responsible for organising and overseeing the use of the physical resources required to run the West Midlands Community Forensic LDA service.



5. To contribute to future developments of the offender group treatment programmes and the community forensic service. 6. To provide teaching and training of others.



7. To provide specialist assessments and consultation to others in a range of agencies (e.g. health, social care, third sector, probation) 8. To coordinate referrals into the West Midlands Community Forensic LDA service including liaison with relevant commissioners.



9. To participate in the West Midlands-wide on-call rota, providing clinical advice and urgent support outside core hours.
