Job Description

Qualifications and Further Training Essential 4 year degree in Dietetics (or equivalent qualification) Registration with HCPC Student supervisory skills course Management training BDA Paediatric modules Desirable Counselling skills course Management training Diabetes education training for Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes Insulin Pump Therapy Course Carbohydrate counting course Experience Essential 3 years experience in paediatric dietetics Delivering education to a diverse range of audiences Student training Group work and understanding of team dynamics Auditing of dietetic services Staff management Service delivery in a range of clinical settings, including community Experience of working in a team and contributing to team decisions Desirable Previous experience working in Diabetes services at a specialist level including experience of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.
