Who are we?

Precision Projects (South East) Ltd are based in London providing specialist roofing and cladding services within London and the surrounding counties.

We are looking for applicants from the Gillingham area only that can team up with one of our Supervisors who lives in this area.

Applicants will be considered for a full apprenticeship in specialist roof and wall cladding achieving CSCS NVQs 2 and 3.

Further training will include working at height, IPAF 3a and 3b, PASMA, manual handling, first aid, asbestos awareness, harness training and rescue from height training.

This is a full time position working on industrial and commercial projects ranging from Schools, Warehouses, Hospitals, Energy Centres, Residential Blocks.

Applicants will be required to work outside in all weathers and at height from either scaffolding or some form of machinery.

75% of the training will be carried out on site with the remainign 25% being carried out in the classroom.

Applicants will work alongside experienced fixers on site and will be trained by fully accredited instructors/assessors in the classroom.

What will the apprentice be doing?

The principles of roof sheeting and cladding and how they are applied, to include the following.

Built up roofing systems, corrugated and standing seam Built up wall cladding systems, corrugated and standing seam Sandwich panels to the roof and walls Structural decking Aluminium decking to balconies and terraces SFS framework Rainscreen cladding comprising aluminium and stone panels Cavity barriers PPC aluminium fabrications PVC membrane lined guttering Louvres Roof safety lines and walkway systems

What is the career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion, apprentices will be eligble for employment in the roofing and cladding industry as a skilled tradesperson Apprentices may progress to supervision and management roles

Working Week

Apprentices will be expected to work a minimum of 40hrs per week with the exception of college/training.

Pay: 13,200.00-26,400.00 per year
