1 x 15 hours:

8,909 to 10,468 per annum + 519 SEN

1 x 22 hours:

13,067 to 15,353 per annum + 762 SEN

4 x 25 hours

:

14,849 to 17,447 per annum + 865 SEN

The Role:



We are a highly regarded, friendly team supporting learners with a sensory loss in mainstream settings across the county. This is an opportunity to join us as a Specialist Teaching Assistant working with a deaf child or young person in a range of settings across the county of Worcestershire. You will be working with and supporting Qualified Teachers of the Deaf/ Multisensory Impairment, an Educational Audiologist, and Specialist Practitioners.

Available Roles:



Worcester High School - 2 x 25 hours Tenbury Early Years Setting - 1 x 25 hours Worcester Primary School - 1 x 25 hours Worcester Early Years Setting - 1 x 22 hours Kidderminster Post-16 College - 1 x 15 hours

We are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and highly motivated Specialist Teaching Assistant with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to support a range of students at different key stages, a range of settings including those with complex needs, as necessary. Confidence to support school-based staff, to advocate for the needs of the deaf pupil you support and the ability to travel across the county is essential. You will have experience of working with children/ young people, deafness, meeting targeted outcomes and a BSL level 2 qualification. All necessary training will be provided and you will have access to a range of CPD within the team.
