You will have experience across a broad range of creative technologies and be committed to learning more.

What will you be doing?

Day-to-day overseeing the Creative Lab Space (situated in the Tyndall Avenue Arts & Social Sciences Library). To include the routine maintenance of equipment, the replenishment of consumables and assisting Lab users with specific enquiries.

Contributing to and delivering inductions to guide new users in the use of specific technologies. Inductions may be online or in the Lab space.

Issuing equipment to be used off-site, liaising with off-site equipment users and receipt of coming loans.

Helping to plan future development of the Creative Lab as new technologies become available.

Writing risk assessments and method statements/standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines. Understand and follow all relevant Health & Safety guidelines.

You should apply if

You have a passion for creative technology.
