About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle)Specialist Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for fitting and installing a wide range of WAV adaptations, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and tailored to the needs of each customer.

This includes the installation of seats, restraints, ramps, flooring systems, and a variety of mobility and accessibility components. You'll take pride in producing high-quality workmanship and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Install and fit WAV adaptations including seats, restraints, tie-downs, ramps, lifts, and floor systems. Diagnose and rectify faults with existing WAV equipment and fittings. Carry out modifications and bespoke adaptations to meet customer needs. Ensure all work meets safety, regulatory and quality standards. Keep accurate job records and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

About You

Previous experience working with WAVs, vehicle adaptations or automotive engineering (preferred). Confident in drilling, cutting, fitting, wiring, and general mechanical tasks. Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship. Full UK driving licence. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Positive attitude and commitment to customer care.
